SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented and experienced Apparel focused Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. This role requires a highly creative individual with a strong sense of fashion trends, excellent design execution skills, and full proficiency in Centric PLM. You’ll be responsible for creating innovative graphics and prints for apparel that align with our brand identity and appeal to our target market. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys working on a variety of design projects simultaneously.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design compelling graphics, prints, placements, and logos for seasonal apparel collections and special product drops.
- Manage multiple brands (in-line, off-price, and licensed) art requests across categories including Mens, Womens, Home, Accessories, and Equipment, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Chase artwork for imminent seasonal orders and ensure timely delivery for production.
- Assist Designers in creating layout pages, placement pages, and tech packs with high accuracy.
- Color-separate AOP repeat artwork in Photoshop using channels and layers for each color position.
- Re-color, rescale, and revise existing artwork as needed.
- Perform occasional photo editing using AI tools to create visuals for VLPs and line sheets used in merchandising.
- Translate fashion trends and consumer insights into innovative visual concepts aligned with brand goals.
- Maintain high-quality design output under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Participate in creative reviews and brainstorming sessions.
Centric PLM Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the print library and graphic components by running reports via brand categories.
- Enter artwork into the Centric PLM system to create art codes for designers' BOMs and adopt colorways.
- Update artwork status when it has been dropped or produced each quarter.
- Add keyword tags in Centric to organize the Print Library, ensuring artwork is properly tagged and easy to retrieve.
- Teach designers how to scale artwork within CADs and prepare final art files.
- Manage and organize Centric-driven tutorials for new hires and refreshers for current designers on how to submit art requests and use the system effectively.
- Collaborate with the Centric team to enhance workflows and improve art component entry processes.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in graphic design for apparel.
- Strong proficiency in Centric PLM – must be able to work independently within the system.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Proven creativity with a strong portfolio showcasing fashion-forward, original designs.
- Experience with apparel graphics including screen printing, embroidery, sublimation, and specialty techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with garment construction and various apparel categories (e.g., knits, outerwear, activewear).
