Job Description
Amazon's Employer Brand team seeks a Senior Research and Insights Manager to lead our global research and insights program supporting Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will own the implementation and scaling of research tools and products that define talent preferences, behaviors, and employer perception. You will be highly skilled at analyzing robust data sets and developing meaningful business insights that tell a compelling story leaders can use to influence decision making. You will be endlessly curious about Amazon's talent audience and what the data reveals about their job needs and career motivations.
A successful candidate demonstrates proficiency in SQL and Python to extract and analyze large talent datasets, perform statistical analysis, and build predictive models. You have hands-on experience with Qualtrics, Tableau, and/or QuickSight. You've designed longitudinal studies tracking data over time and built analytical frameworks that quantify business impact. Your track record includes translating complex data into executive-ready insights that drive strategic decisions. You bring knowledge of AI/ML applications that will help us scale, automate, and uncover patterns in large-scale data.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop, execute, and steer the global research roadmap with clear objectives, priorities, and deliverables to include both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Write and socialize research and insights studies with leadership and stakeholder across multiple teams to build trust in the research tool and influence decision-making, diving deep to understand and communicate the ‘so what’ and ‘now what’
• Partner with science, data, and product teams to develop automation, data integration, and self-service tools
• Maintain cross-organizational knowledge-sharing with other research and insights teams across Amazon
• Manage vendor relationships and program ROI
A day in the life
Your typical day includes partnering with research vendors to design and refine survey instruments, analyzing global talent data to uncover patterns in candidate preferences and employer perception, and leading focus groups or senior leadership interviews to deepen our understanding of the quantitative insights. You'll then write research reports and consult with senior stakeholders on research findings.
