Job Description:

Role: Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and RedHat OpenShift administration.

Responsibilities: 

OpenShift -

Core Platform & Infrastructure

Designing and operating Virtual Networks, Subnets, Routing, Firewall rules
Managing App Services, VMs, Redis, Key Vaults, Storage, Event Hub
Secure Cloud Enablement

Identity management and endpoint protection (Private Endpoints, NSGs)
Enforcing cloud compliance policies in onboarding environments
Release & Deployment Support

Azure DevOps pipelines for build and release automation
Supporting high-velocity deployments for Digital teams
Operational Support

Troubleshooting production and pre-prod issues
 


GCP responsibilities include:

·       Scaling microservices using GKE and Cloud Run

·       API Platform adoption via Apigee & API Gateway

·       Network security and connectivity expansion to support multi-cloud

·       Observability modernization using Cloud Monitoring, Tracing, Logging

·       Deployment & IaC automation across multiple Digital teams

·       Increasing SRE accountability to meet uptime and latency goals

We strongly recommend onboarding one Azure + GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer to:

✔ Maintain Azure operations without disruption
✔ Enable scalable GCP onboarding for 2026 roadmap
✔ Prevent productivity loss and support SLAs
✔ Strengthen multi-cloud reliability, automation, and security

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role.

Skills:

Proficiency in Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).

Familiarity with Google BI and AI/ML tools (Looker, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, etc.)

Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure pipelines Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Preferred Certifications:

Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
