The Role
The Senior Specialist, Creative Concept Development plays a key role in translating global creative ideas into compelling retail design experiences across EMEA stores. This position combines creative concept adaptation, retail design oversight, project management, and production coordination to deliver impactful seasonal windows and in-store activations.
Working closely with Creative, Marketing, Production, and regional Visual Merchandising teams, the role ensures that concepts are designed, developed, and executed consistently across markets, while maintaining brand integrity, operational feasibility, and strong activation
performance.
Key Responsibilities
Seasonal Creative Concept Design & Execution
• Adapt global seasonal concepts into retail design solutions suitable for EMEA store environments.
• Translate creative direction into visual layouts, sketches, spatial concepts, and
technical adaptations for window displays and in-store activations.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams to refine design elements including materials, scale, prop composition, and spatial storytelling.
• Review and approve renders, layouts, and design adaptations before production.
• Ensure concepts maintain strong design integrity while meeting operational and production requirements.
Seasonal Rollout & Production Management (EMEA)
• Support the end-to-end rollout of seasonal window displays and in-store
activations across EMEA.
• Coordinate with global production teams, procurement, and vendors to ensure feasibility and quality.
• Manage supplier sampling, production coordination, and material selections.
• Oversee ordering, logistics coordination, and delivery timelines to ensure on-time installation in stores.
• Resolve production, logistics, or installation issues during rollout phases.
• Support installation at flagship or high-visibility locations when required.
Seasonal Planning & Project Management
• Build and manage the seasonal planning framework for creative concept development and rollout.
• Maintain project timelines, milestones, and cross-functional workflows throughout the creative cycle.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align on design development, production readiness, and launch schedules.
• Track project progress and proactively mitigate risks or delays.
Regional Partner for EMEA VM & Store Teams
• Act as the supportive regional partner for VM Leads and Brand Experience
Managers on seasonal window and in-store activations.
• Provide guidance on design execution, prop integration, spatial layout, and
installation standards.
• Communicate rollout timelines, launch milestones, and execution guidelines across markets.
• Support regional teams in resolving issues related to installation, quality, or delivery.
Cross-Functional Creative Alignment
• Partner with Graphic Design and Consumer Messaging teams to ensure visual guidelines reflect the physical design and installation of seasonal concepts.
• Review seasonal renders and campaign imagery to ensure consistency between creative assets and in-store design experiences.
• Maintain alignment between concept design, production feasibility, and rollout timelines.
Activation Performance & Budget Tracking
• Maintain a budget tracker to monitor production and rollout costs across activations.
• Provide visibility into cost allocations for seasonal concepts and activations.
• Track and manage ROI overview of retail activations, assessing effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to post-activation reviews to inform future creative and operational decisions.
Non-Seasonal Activations & Creative Development
• Support the design and rollout of non-seasonal activations, collaborations, campaigns, and special retail projects.
• Contribute to the creative development and design adaptation of one-off concepts outside the seasonal calendar.
• Ensure non-seasonal activations meet brand design standards, feasibility
requirements, and execution timelines.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the Creative Concepts Coordinator to support design processes and rollout workflows.
Key Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in retail design, visual merchandising, creative concept
development, or retail project management.
• Strong understanding of retail design, window displays, and in-store visual
storytelling.
• Experience translating creative concepts into production-ready retail executions.
• Proven ability to manage multi-market retail activations and store rollouts.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines.
• Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and production partners.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, production, and regional
teams.
• Experience tracking activation budgets and ROI performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international
environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana) and standard business
software, adobe suite etc.
• Experience working with EMEA retail networks or global brands is a strong
advantage.
