As a Senior Clinical Specialist (Joint Replacement) in KwaZulu-Natal region, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager and serve as a trusted clinical resource within the theatre and hospital environment. You will provide in-depth product knowledge, training, and support to healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional service and optimal clinical outcomes. You will also collaborate closely with the sales team to support business growth and represent Stryker’s brand with integrity and professionalism.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide clinical and theatre support to existing and new customers, including surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital administration.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Stryker products, ensuring healthcare professionals are confident in their use.

  • Audit theatre and hospital stock (implants, disposables, instruments), manage consignment inventory, and ensure best-in-class asset management practices.

  • Support the sales team in clinical engagements and contribute to the adoption of new products or solutions.

  • Conduct product trials and evaluations in theatre and clinical environments as needed.

  • Maintain a basic business plan with daily, weekly, and monthly objectives aligned with regional strategy.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and the Regional Sales Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and drive operational excellence.

  • Represent Stryker’s brand professionally, acting with integrity and upholding ethical standards at all times.

What You Will Need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field

  • 4+ years of experience in theatre or clinical environments, ideally as a Clinical Support Specialist or OR Nurse

  • Prior exposure to trauma or orthopedic within theatre environment

  • Strong organizational and independent work skills

  • Ability to manage clinical support responsibilities while assisting the sales team

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • High integrity and commitment to patient safety

  • Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in Joint Replacement
