The manager will own the planning and execution of paid digital ad campaigns in collaboration with the project manager and artist teams, with a concentration on D2C growth and efficiency. Just as crucial, the manager will immerse themselves in the fanbase of their roster of artists, helping to ideate and execute campaigns to build fan communities, including a focus on qualitative audience knowledge, first party data capture, and subsequent usage of that data in marketing. Creativity, attention to detail, and data acumen are essential to this role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, fan culture, and analytics.
What you'll do:
- Paid Digital Advertising. Lead the paid digital media strategy, including planning, execution, and reporting, for your designated roster of Columbia frontline artists. Hyper focus on D2C tactics including conversion tracking across all digital platforms.
- Out of Home Planning. Weave out of home placements into the marketing mix, complimenting IRL and digital activations through a creative and geo-targeted lens.
- Fan Building Data Initiatives. Ideate and integrate fan data acquisition initiatives into digital marketing plans with an eye towards long term fan journeys.
- Content Ideation. Help brainstorm content ideas for bespoke advertising objectives, incorporating real-time trends into campaign creative.
- Reporting and Storytelling. Synthesize campaign insights to provide to senior management and artist teams; derive narrative from numbers; own reporting templates and innovate tracking documentation.
- Resource Building. Learn existing tools to streamline digital media processes and explore new platforms to further innovate workflow.
- Billing Reconciliation. Coordinate billing reconciliation and invoice fulfillment for digital advertising partners.
Who you are:
- At least 3-4 years of relevant Paid Media experience required.
- Hands on experience with paid media platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager)
- Experience with research tools, emerging and left of center social platforms (is a plus).
- Proficient in excel; extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
