Join as Intern the Advanced Technology department within our Research and Development organization, where you’ll contribute to the future of next-generation electron microscopy. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge projects using state-of-the-art equipment, collaborating closely with leading experts in the field. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing advanced scientific technologies that are used by customers around the world.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to the research and development of next-generation electron microscopy and focused ion beam systems.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and evaluation of new components, methods, and prototypes.
  • Tackle challenging technical problems in areas such as experimentation, modeling, data analysis, algorithm development, and software solutions.
  • Help design and optimize innovative approaches that improve system capabilities and future product performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on advanced development projects.

Requirements:

  • University student or doctoral candidate in physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • General technical knowledge, with applied understanding relevant to the candidate’s field of study.
  • Experience with scripting, programming, or technical computing is an advantage (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW).
  • Interest in solving complex technical problems in a research and development environment.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to work systematically on experimental, computational, or software-based tasks.
  • Ability to think independently and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week for at least one year.
