Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and problem-solving to maintain database performance and reliability, collaborating with various teams to support data integrity and availability throughout the enterprise.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of database security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align database strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and performance tuning.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for databases.
- Ability to write complex queries and optimize database operations.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
