Strategic Account Manager, Automotive Collision (Bilingual English/French)

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for retaining Axalta Coating System’s key collision shop customers. They will maintain and ensure Axalta, our distributors, and customers are delivering on all elements of the business agreement with their predefined customer base.
Work Location: This fully remote role requires a local presence in the greater Montreal, Canada surrounding area to allow for onsite visits at customer sites across Eastern Canada.
Expected Compensation:
We consider an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience to determine final salary. This role is eligible for benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 CAD annually. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the key elements of the business agreement with the account.
- Create a mechanism to measure Axalta’s performance to our promised deliverables.
- Periodically re-assess the customer’s need to refine the evolving company-wide strategic plan.
- Set reasonable KPI goals company-wide and per location.
- Facilitate monthly tracking of necessary data to analyze performance.
- Collaborate to jointly create a strategic plan.
- Maintain a consistent strategic focus on plans to optimize material gross profit or reduce the liquid cost per hour.
- Provide in-depth consultative support relative to top-line sales, estimates, company-wide SOPs, and related internal leadership development to be a part of the customer’s long-term success.
- Facilitate process improvement roundtables with key staff, as required.
- Coordinate periodic meetings to review the strategic account plan, goals and milestones.
- As customers or locations are added, lead the paint conversion effort and solicit distribution resources to help in the effort.
- Following the conversion, lead the process of getting them set up with the value-added resources Axalta provides.
Job Requirements: The Strategic Account Manager should be an experienced sales professional with extensive Automotive Refinish sales background in various roles with a strong track record for achievement in sales and customer support.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 5-7 years of industry experience.
- Collision center management experience accountable for the site's performance & streamlining efforts to optimize production.
- In-depth knowledge of collision repair process.
- Bilingual fluency in French & English.
- Effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Executes a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent project management skills to be able to manage multiple projects for each customer assigned.
- Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fosters teamwork with peers and other resources to meet customer needs.
- Self-discipline in order to maintain effective performance in unstructured and autonomous conditions.
- Presents oneself in a professional manner throughout all levels of the organization.
- Motivates distribution personnel to accomplish business goals.
- Must be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license is required.

Le responsable de compte stratégique sera chargé de fidéliser les principaux clients des ateliers de carrosserie Les Systèmes de Revêtements Axalta. Ils maintiendront et veilleront à ce qu'Axalta, nos distributeurs et nos clients respectent tous les éléments de l'accord commercial avec leur clientèle prédéfinie. Il s'agit d'un poste à distance, idéalement dans la région de Montréal et couvre l'Est du Canada.
Principales responsabilités:
• Comprendre les éléments clés de l'accord commercial avec le compte.
• Créer un mécanisme pour mesurer la performance d'Axalta par rapport aux livrables promis
• Réévaluer périodiquement les besoins du client pour affiner le plan stratégique évolutif à l'échelle de l'entreprise.
• Définition d'objectifs KPI raisonnables à l'échelle de l'entreprise et par site.
• Suivi mensuel des données nécessaires pour analyser les performances.
• Collaborer pour créer conjointement un plan stratégique.
• Un objectif stratégique cohérent doit être mis sur des plans visant à optimiser le bénéfice brut matériel ou à réduire le coût liquide par heure.
• Fournir un soutien consultatif approfondi concernant les ventes, les estimations, les SOP à l'échelle de l'entreprise et le développement de leur leadership interne pour faire partie du succès à long terme du client.
• Animer des tables rondes sur l'amélioration des processus avec le personnel clé, au besoin.
• Coordonner des réunions périodiques pour revoir le plan de compte stratégique, leurs objectifs et les jalons.
• Au fur et à mesure que des clients ou des emplacements sont ajoutés, diriger l'effort de conversion de la peinture et solliciter les ressources de distribution pour aider à l'effort.
• Après la conversion, diriger le processus de mise en place avec les ressources à valeur ajoutée fournies par Axalta.
Exigences de l’emploi :
Le responsable de compte stratégique doit être un professionnel de la vente expérimenté avec une vaste expérience de la vente de finition automobile dans divers rôles avec un solide bilan de réussite dans les ventes et le support client.
• Baccalauréat et/ou au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie
• Capacité à communiquer efficacement en anglais et en français ainsi que de solides compétences interpersonnelles
• Utilise efficacement une approche collaborative pour la résolution de problèmes
• Possède une connaissance approfondie du processus de réparation de collision
• Possède des compétences bien développées en gestion de projet pour être en mesure de gérer plusieurs projets pour chacun des clients qui leur sont assignés
• Compétences informatiques, maîtrise de Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
