About the Role 

The Tax Manager will join our growing team of tax professionals located at our HQ in San Jose, CA. The Tax Manager will be contributing to all areas of tax, including compliance and planning. The individual will report to the Tax Director. We are seeking a colleague who enjoys working collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced growing company. The Tax Manager will be a qualified tax professional with solid experience in worldwide tax compliance, M&A, Inter-company transactions, US domestic and international income tax, and ASC 740. This role will require a person who is proactive and enjoys learning and new challenges. This role will be an active participant in income tax compliance and planning that is closely integrated with direct and indirect tax, in order to support the business from a holistic tax perspective.   

In this position you’ll serve as a key member of our finance team and will have opportunities to contribute to shareholder value by assisting with the business and growth of the Company. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $145,000 and $155,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off. 

  

What you’ll be doing 

  • Financial Reporting 
    • Support the accurate preparation of Roku income tax for Form 10Q/10K financial reporting 
  • Income Tax Return Compliance 
    • Work in collaboration with the team on the U.S. consolidated income tax return and state income tax returns, as well as local international subs
