Job Description
As a core member of the AMZL ACES PMO BI & Analytics team, you will contribute to the overall optimization of the last-mile operations network in Japan. Leveraging BI tools and AI technology, you will build an analytical foundation that enables leadership to make swift decisions.
By applying statistical knowledge in practice and pursuing the truth behind data, you will deliver insights from new perspectives beyond traditional KPIs. With a solid understanding of processes and a bias for action, you will analyze and improve process challenges in a data-driven manner, contributing to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and maximization of customer value at Amazon Logistics Japan.

Key job responsibilities
・Design, implement, and operate complex data analysis projects
・Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools such as QuickSight and Tableau
・Conduct anomaly detection, trend analysis, and predictive analysis using statistical methods
・Automate and streamline analysis leveraging AI/ML tools
・Pursue the truth behind data and provide actionable insights
・Propose data-driven analysis and recommendations for process improvement
・Define and implement analysis requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
・Monitor data quality and propose improvements
・Demonstrate Bias for Action and deliver results

• 統計的手法を用いた異常検知、トレンド分析、予測分析の実施

• プロセス改善のためのデータドリブンな分析と提案
• ステークホルダーとの協働による分析要件の定義と実装
• データ品質の監視と改善提案
• Bias for Actionを持ち、結果を提供
- 3+ years of practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science
- Practical SQL experience and ability to write complex queries
- Experience developing with BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience in statistical analysis (mean, variance, correlation analysis, etc.)
- Experience in data analysis using programming languages such as Python or R
- Understanding of data visualization best practices
- Excellent communication skills (Japanese and English)
- Ability to correctly understand processes and analyze challenges in a data-driven manner
- Data analytics experience in AWS environments (Redshift, Athena, S3, etc.)
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience with machine learning and AI tools
- Experience designing and implementing ETL processes
- Analytics experience in logistics, supply chain, or last-mile delivery domains
- Practical experience in statistical hypothesis testing and A/B testing
- Experience in data modeling
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or above
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience proactively tackling problem-solving

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field)- 3+ years of practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science
