Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Pre‑Sales Technical Support (50%)
    • Act as the primary technical contact for Japanese customers during evaluation, design‑in stages
    • Support module selection, system architecture discussions, and feasibility assessments with customer engineers, architects and decision-makers
    • Gather key information (business, deployment, market status...) to define a winning strategy with Product Line managers
    • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution positioning to customer
    • Partner closely with Sales and distributors to drive design wins and opportunity progression

  • Design‑In & Early Integration Support (50%)
    • Support customer engineering teams during HW design‑in, OS integration, RF, antenna, and power design considerations
    • Technical issue triage & escalation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years’ experience as Pre-Sales / Application Engineer / Technical Account Manager, especially in the semiconductor market
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience in IP protocol stack field (TCP/UDP IP and HTTP)
  • Ability to travel to customer sites – occasionally with short notice
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor. Self-Motivated Learning
  • Advanced problem-solving skills (Have logical knowledge to isolate technical issues and minimize procedures to reproduce the customer issue)
  • Language: Fluent Japanese and English both written and spoken

Desired Experience:

  • Skills in complex systems design including expertise in Windows, Linux and Android
  • Windows driver mechanism deep knowledge and BIOS knowledge is plus
  • Experience in Cellular technology (4G/5G) / Wi-Fi is a plus
  • Cellular Carrier & Certification experience is a plus
