This role is in the Product Data Management (PDM) Team, part of the Business Operations Team supporting the LSG, BPG and LPG Groups.

DESCRIPTION:

The Product Data Analyst is responsible for curating and maintaining product master data throughout the lifecycle of the product in compliance with corporate procedures.

A day in the Life:

  • Drive the processes for new product introductions, changes and discontinuations through change control workflows.

  • Apply technical knowledge of and practical experience with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc.)

  • Identifies appropriate approvers for the change orders and follows up with approvers and raises issues as needed.

  • Resolve product data issues applying expertise in data standards and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Experience or background in data science, information systems, life sciences, or related fields is desirable.

  • Certifications or training in data management or data analytics

Experience

  • 5 years or more experience working with master data or managing SKUs

  • Experience in Product Management, eCommerce, Sales Data Management is preferred

  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management and Change Control desirable

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience updating, managing master data preferably in a manufacturing industry.

  • Understand and address specific needs and priorities of stakeholders.

  • Partner with the team to automate manual and repetitive processes using technology and process improvement methodologies.

  • Serve as a domain expert to resolve challenges within and outside the Product Data Management team to ensure change order progression.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
