Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Social Marketing Manager to oversee and execute social media campaigns for Prime Original Series, driving a best in class customer experience and engagement. We are looking for a passionate individual who spends their day immersed in social media and preferably has some experience working on digital and social marketing campaigns for entertainment brands, movies or series.

Success in this role requires excellent customer instincts, an aptitude for developing insights-driven ideas, a deep and current knowledge of each platform’s unique offerings and influencers, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content and creative, excellent project management skills, and an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things, push boundaries, and execute new ideas.

The Social Marketing Manager will work across internal teams including marketing strategy, creative, synergy, events and PR, as well as partner with external social strategy and creative agencies. They will work with key social media and digital platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube as well as seek out emerging platforms that can help grow our fan bases.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive awareness, buzz, follower growth and engagement across long-lead, launch and sustain marketing phases for Prime Original Series
- Work closely and collaboratively across marketing strategy, creative, paid social, PR and synergy teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations, events and strategies
- Manage agencies and oversee campaign planning and management
- Collaborate with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations ahead of competitors
- Develop and own goals and performance metrics for the social handles they oversee; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Effectively communicate plans to partners, agencies, and stakeholders
- Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
- Establish ongoing audit and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficacy of our social media plans
- Monitor, analyze and report competitive marketing campaigns

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience creating visual assets for digital, mobile, and social
- 5+ years experience in digital or social marketing

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Experience managing relationships with external partners, including showrunners and talent
