We powered conversations for DoorDash, Match Group, Noom, Yahoo Sports, Rakuten, and thousands of others. We were good at what we did. Really good.

We also saw it early: AI would fundamentally reshape how businesses talk to customers. The infrastructure we'd spent a decade building would become commoditized. The value would move up the stack—into intelligence, into experience, into outcomes.

We had a choice: protect what we built, or reinvent ourselves.

We chose reinvention.

In December 2024, we made the full strategic pivot to AI-first customer experience. By February 2025, we'd launched our AI agent for enterprise CX—built on a decade of conversation data, now with intelligence on top. And in November 2025, we rebranded to delight.ai.

The name says it all. AI's real promise isn't efficiency or cost savings. It's giving customers back something they lost—the feeling of being truly understood and cared for. Not satisfied. Delighted.

The Product 

Delight.ai is the AI concierge for customer experience. Most AI agents forget you the moment the conversation ends. Ours doesn't. Delight.ai builds memory over time, learns preferences, and connects context across every channel—chat, SMS, email, voice, WhatsApp—without losing the thread. We're building AI that makes customers feel understood, seen, and remembered.

Why Forward Deployed PM Intern

The AI agent space is moving faster than most roadmaps can track. We're not just building features. We're defining what AI-powered customer experience looks like at scale, and we need someone who can sit at the front of that process with us.

Forward Deployed PMs at Sendbird live at the edge of the pipeline. They talk to clients directly, diagnose real problems, and drive solutions all the way. This internship puts you in that seat, supporting the people doing that work every day, learning how the product meets customers in real time.

The Role

You'll work directly alongside the Forward Deployed Product Manager, supporting client problem definition, and keeping execution sharp behind the scenes. From writing PRDs to benchmarking AI models to preparing materials for real enterprise customers, this role is for someone who moves fast, communicates clearly, and wants to ship real work. 

You might be this person if:

  • You're curious about why customers buy, churn, and complain, and you dig into that context before jumping to solutions
  • You naturally translate messy, real-world problems into structured documents that a product team can act on
  • You use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT daily, not as novelties, but as core parts of how you research, draft, and think through problems
  • You write clearly and quickly. Whether it's a PRD, a follow-up summary, or a PoC brief, your documents don't need a second pass to be understood
  • You follow through. If you say you'll own something, you own it all the way to completion

You need to have:

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, GPT, Gemini, or similar) for research, analysis, or workflow automation
  • Strong written communication skills: you can turn ambiguous problems into clear, structured documents
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and flag blockers early
  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (product, business, CS, or related)
