Summer 2026: Mobile App Developer Intern (May to August)

Work Period: May 2026 to August 2026

Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Needham, MA with the remaining days worked remotely.  There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

As a Mobile App Developer Co-op, you’ll be an integral part of the team driving SharkNinja’s connected ecosystem, from floorcare and kitchen appliances to beauty tools and air purification. Working alongside engineers, designers, and product managers, you’ll help develop intuitive, cross-platform mobile apps that integrate with IoT devices via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cloud-based services. Your work will directly enhance how users interact with our products in their everyday lives.  Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

• Build and enhance cross-platform mobile apps using cutting-edge technologies like React Native, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, and Rust
• Connect the digital and physical world by integrating apps with real SharkNinja IoT devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• Bring smart features to life—from real-time syncing and remote device control to push notifications and personalized experiences
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews that sharpen your skills and support team growth
• Test and troubleshoot apps across different devices and operating systems to ensure a seamless user experience
• Contribute to daily agile ceremonies and sprints, gaining real exposure to modern software development practices
• Explore and propose new tools, libraries, and development approaches that push innovation forward
• Work side-by-side with product managers, UX designers, and firmware engineers to shape products used in millions of homes
