Team Description
You’ll join our Global Talent Acquisition team in Brazil, partnering closely with recruiters and leaders across Engineering and Product. Together, we’re building the teams that will shape SumUp’s next generation of products and technology. This is a strategic and hands-on Tech Recruiter role, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing. You’ll act as a top-of-funnel accelerator while also owning selected roles end-to-end, especially specialized or high-impact technical positions. Your work will directly influence how fast and how well we hire across Brazil and LATAM.
You’ll collaborate with TA partners locally and globally to ensure SumUp continues to attract exceptional technical talent while strengthening our sourcing maturity in the region.
What you’ll do
- Build and nurture proactive talent pipelines for Engineering and Product roles across Brazil.
- Partner with hiring managers and TA partners to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and sourcing approaches.
- Own selected technical requisitions end-to-end — from intake to offer — with a strong focus on quality and speed.
- Lead structured sourcing sprints and deep market mapping for hard-to-fill or niche tech roles.
- Design and execute inclusive outreach strategies to engage passive technical talent.
- Share market insights (talent availability, compensation trends, competitor mapping) to influence hiring decisions.
- Track and analyze recruiting and sourcing metrics using Greenhouse, Gem, and dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to sourcing excellence by sharing best practices, mentoring others, and helping scale recruiting processes.

- Have solid experience recruiting technical roles in fast-paced tech or fintech environments.
- Are highly skilled in proactive sourcing and pipeline building for Engineering and Product profiles.
- Are comfortable owning searches end-to-end and partnering closely with hiring managers.
- Are fluent in English and confident collaborating across cultures and time zones.
- Bring strong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, and data-driven recruiting.
- Excel at engaging passive talent through personalized, inclusive outreach.
- Enjoy building processes, experimenting, and improving how hiring is done.
- Stay calm in fast-changing environments, bringing structure and clarity to complexity.
