Role Summary 

The Director, Digital Commerce, Channel & Portfolio for Poland & Baltics is the enterprise commercial leader responsible for accelerating profitable, sustainable growth across all channels — At Home, Away From Home, and Digital Commerce (online grocery, quick commerce, AFH aggregators) — through a unified, insight driven system approach. 

The role owns the end-to-end Digital Commerce strategy, leads channel & portfolio activation, and integrates LRP/ABP processes across four countries. The remit includes eRGM, eRED, Retail Media, platform economics, and commercial performance routines with the bottler partners across Poland and the Baltics. 

Acting as the system orchestrator across the subregion, the Director ensures the Company and bottlers remain aligned on priorities, performance, and execution standards. The Director also represents Poland & Baltics in the EU Digital Commerce Network, shaping toolkits, digital assets, and best-practice sharing. 

 

What You’ll Do for Us  

1) Own Digital Commerce Strategy, System Alignment & Decision Rights 

  • Lead and integrate the Digital Commerce strategy for Poland & Baltics across online grocery, ecommerce, e-retail, AFH aggregator platforms. 

  • Unite the Company and bottlers (Poland + Baltics) behind one system plan, shared KPIs, and aligned investment choices. 

  • Shape system trade-offs across OBPPC, activation, IMX, Retail Media, and customer partnerships within strategic guardrails. 

  • Represent Digital Commerce in all strategic commercial decisions with Marketing, RGM, Finance, Operations, Strategy. 

 

2) Drive System Performance & Predictable Results 

  • Own Digital Commerce performance across four markets: volume, NSR, transactions, value share, and profit. 

  • Lead data-driven routines focused on root causes and next actions (beyond reporting). 

  • Partner with bottler teams in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia on JBPs, execution, and ROI delivery. 

  • Ensure consistent use of dashboards, forecasting tools, and performance frameworks across the subregion. 

3) Lead eRGM, eRED, Platform Economics & Portfolio Performance 

  • Define and continuously optimize eRGM across digital subchannels: pack-price architecture, promo strategy, platform fees/economics, customer P&L. 

  • Establish and track eRED for key customers/platforms to balance platform economics, customer value creation and system returns. 

  • Maximize assortment, visibility, conversion, and basket expansion across digital platforms; link to Look of Success (LoS). 

4) Lead Retail Media Strategy & Investment (with the Bottler) 

  • Co-lead Retail Media strategy, planning, and investment governance; align IMX and Digital Commerce roles and measurement frameworks. 

  • Set KPIs/attribution for conversion, shopper engagement, and platform growth; ensure ROAS and incrementality discipline. 

5) Channel & Portfolio Strategy and Activation Excellence 

  • Develop integrated portfolio and channel strategies that ensure consistent execution across At Home, Away from Home, and eCommerce. 

  • Design and deploy multi-brand activation platforms, aligned to market opportunities, global assets, and sustainability/packaging priorities. 

  • Translate strategies into channel activation plans and LoS guidelines—codify, scale, and continuously improve. 

6) Local Commercial Planning (LRP/ABP) & Integrated Routines 

  • Lead/shape inputs to LRP/ABP in partnership with Strategy, Marketing, RGM and Commercial-ensuring connected, insight-led, financially disciplined plans. 

  • Ensure system alignment (Company, bottler, OU) and stronger planning–performance linkage through embedded analytics. 

7) Analytics, AI & Innovation 

  • Embed advanced analytics and AI into forecasting, pricing, promo, assortment, media, and conversion modelling. 

  • Run test-and-learn programs; incubate partnerships and pilots; scale proven innovations across PL &Baltics and the EU network. 

  • Champion data democratization and decision quality; institutionalize learnings and playbooks. 

8) System Leadership, External Influence & Capability Building 

  • Build senior relationships with the bottler and key digital customers (retailers, aggregators, platforms) to drive joint value creation. 

  • Represent the Company on digital commerce topics, shape industry dialogue and platform evolution. 

  • Lead capability building on activation excellence; codify best practices across channels and share across the system. 

 

Experience & Capabilities 

  • Extensive experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce, Omnichannel, or platform-based roles. 

  • Proven ability to apply data science, AI, and advanced analytics to commercial decision-making. 

  • Strong understanding of platform economics and aggregator business models across multiple markets. 

  • Background in portfolio strategy, channel activation, shopper marketing or RGM. 

  • Strong acumen in commercial planning, P&L management, and ROI optimization. 

  • Executive presence and excellent storytelling; able to simplify complexity across four-market systems. 

  • Demonstrated success influencing without authority in matrixed, multimarket environments. 

  • Required: Experience working in Poland or Baltics. 

  • Languages: English required; Polish preferred; Baltic languages a plus but not required. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Business, Analytics, Marketing or related). 

  • 8–12+ years in relevant commercial/digital roles with increasing scope and system leadership. 

 

Base Salary: 289000 PLN to 448000 PLN 

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered. 

  

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 30% 

Annual incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.

Travel 

  • Up to 20–25%, subject to business needs.
