Description

As the EHS Business Partner, you’ll work in partnership with the business to provide practical and proactive environment, health and safety support across the Amberley KC30 & C27J programs (and other sites when required).

You’ll be instrumental in helping teams understand, implement and continuously improve EHS practices in line with our Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Environment and Sustainability Strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and coaching on EHS policies, procedures, standards and systems
  • Supporting site and program managers to identify hazards, assess risks and implement effective controls
  • Conducting incident investigations, audits and inspections, and driving actions through to completion
  • Supporting EHS committee meetings and engaging teams through toolbox talks, safety shares and pre-starts
  • Leading and contributing to EHS audits, risk assessments and improvement initiatives
  • Supporting hazardous chemical management, environmental and sustainability reporting
  • Promoting the use of EHS systems (including Cority) to capture incidents, hazards and actions
  • Assisting with health, wellbeing and return-to-work activities at site level

You’ll collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and play a key role in embedding a strong, proactive safety culture.

About You:

You’re a confident EHS professional who enjoys partnering with the business and influencing positive outcomes. You’re practical, approachable and comfortable balancing compliance with continuous improvement.

You’ll bring:

  • A minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma or higher is highly regarded)
  • Proven experience in hazard and risk management, incident investigations and auditing
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar EHS role, ideally in an operational or regulated environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Experience with EHS management systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office
  • A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
