Are you ready for a challenging new opportunity? Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Program Quality & Mission Assurance Associate position at our Andover, MA location.

You will implement and develop processes to deliver compliant systems and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout program lifecycles.  You will be responsible for supporting programs ensuring that quality requirements are developed using approved development processes and procedures.  Additionally, you will create or tailor existing planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to the program teams and supply base.  This position will support the LADS Quality & Mission Assurance Executive Director with frequent engagement with the executive leadership team.

This is an Onsite role in Andover, MA

What You Will Do:

  • Represent Program Quality on a program or project leadership team.
  • Support the communication of program goals, targets, requirements and customer feedback.
  • Assist in providing program direction to ensure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in program planning.
  • Prepare, collect, analyze and maintain MA metrics.
  • Establish customer relations and process and validate customer corrective action requests.
  • Assess impact of potential customer escapes.
  • Co-chair Program Corrective Action Board (CAB) to meet measures and metrics from stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure autonomous reviews and assessments of program performance are performed, including self-guided technical assessments of systems engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), lessons learned, technology, production and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks) practices assuring Quality Management System (QMS) processes are defined and implemented.
  • Review the Engineering program documentation, including specifications, requirements, specification control drawings, altered item drawings, assembly drawings, test plans, procedures, instructions and standard operating procedures prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to autonomously assure mission results. 

 
Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience:
    • Relevant experience is work in Quality, Engineering, Operations, and/or Program Management.
  • Experience applying to Quality Management Systems IS09001 and AS9100.
  • Work experience utilizing Industry and Government Mission Assurance Requirements and Standards.
  • Performance improvement and/or problem mitigation experience using metrics for predictive or proactive actions / corrections.
  • Experience in supporting External and Internal Quality System or Product/Process audits.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • ASQ Quality Certification.
  • Past experience managing direct reports
  • Experience using environmental laboratory control practices.
  • Working experience of Raytheon RCAS or a proven close- loop corrective action system.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers and government representatives.
  • Experience collaborating with program team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience using verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with systems engineering, reliability and system safety requirements.

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
