The Position

Job Summary:
Serving as an AI strategic catalyst, consultant, and coach, this role acts as the pivotal bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and business; customer needs in the IVD industry. The primary mission is to identify and incubate AI-driven digital products and solutions tailored for the IVD market. Furthermore, by establishing, expanding and iterating a corporate AI knowledge hub, this position will ensure technical accumulation and expertise sharing to empower the internal team, ultimately accelerating intelligent business evolution and the “AI-Native” transformation of organizational operations.

The Opportunity:
AI Business Innovation and Product Solution Incubation

• Deeply analyze needs in clinical labs, pathology, and hospital management to transform frontline feedback and pain points into clear, actionable AI-driven requirements, and closely collaborate with RIS to transfer ideas to product.

• Expertly interpret technical feedback from R&D by integrating AI application trends and customer insights; provide high-value perspectives to resolve conceptual misalignments and drive project milestones.

• Collaborate with internal product owners and lead the innovative iteration of launched digital products by identifying new AI-driven features and service models that align with market evolution.

• Serve as an AI subject matter expert during customer visits to articulate global AI trends and the unique value propositions of Roche’s digital portfolio, assist in defining product market positioning and collaborate to explore business model innovation.

AI Capability Building and Organizational AI Native Reshaping

• Act as an internal AI consultant, orchestrating internal and external expertise to provide targeted AI training for pre-sales, post-sales, and general staff. This initiative focuses on boosting the team's overall proficiency in AI application and hands-on practical capabilities.

• Diagnose existing business processes from a consulting perspective and leverage AI tools to reconstruct internal operating models for efficiency and cost reduction, empowering AI transformation at organizational level.

• Build, expand and iterate the RDSL enterprise-level AI Knowledge Hub.

Who you are:

• Master’s degree or above in CS, Bioinformatics, Data Science;

• Experience in the IVD, Pharmaceutical or MedTech industry is highly preferred.

• AI Technical Mastery - Proficient in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and mainstream AI tools; ability to translate algorithmic logic into business language.

• Business Acumen - Deep understanding of clients’ pain points and the ability to match AI technology with specific IVD business scenarios.

• Soft Skills - Change management capabilities, cross-functional communication, and a relentless curiosity for new technologies.
