Position Overview:
The Senior Product Manager - Commercial Planning will be responsible for working with business stakeholders and the broader IT team, to improve, identify, and implement changes to existing processes and systems in support of achieving organizational goals and increasing overall operational effectiveness for SharkNinja.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of custom commercial planning software applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Provide leadership and direction to developers, administrators, and analysts, ensuring software development efforts align with business priorities.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and prioritization in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Thoughtfully challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders to adopt best-practice process and system improvements.
- Monitor projects, ensuring they are on time and within budget.
- Develop clear documentation including business process models, functional specifications, flow diagrams, and implementation guidance for technical teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 – 5 years managing IT technical teams is preferred
- Recent experience using Github and Jira
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management experience and familiarity with common project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Experience in consumer products or consumer goods is highly desirable
