Job Description

Visual Development

Create detailed concept art for environments, packaging, and world building, establishing the visual style and tone of the project. This includes producing sketches, paintings, and digital renderings to convey ideas effectively.

Collaboration

Work closely with directors, designers, and other departments to ideate and co-create compelling concepts.

Iteration

Refine and adjust designs based on feedback, maintaining flexibility to adapt to evolving creative directions.

Research

Conduct thorough research to inform designs, ensuring authenticity and relevance to the project's setting and themes.

Presentation

Prepare and present concept art to stakeholders, effectively communicating design ideas and their potential impact on the project.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, or Animation.

• 3-5 years in the film industry or production houses under the art/visualisation department. Experience in luxury and beauty is a big plus.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as:

  • Adobe suite - Photoshop/ Illustrator/ After Effects/ Premiere

  • AI - can be either Weavy/Flora/Comfy UI

• Preferably with basic 3D basic knowledge – Blender/Zbrush/Cinema4D

• Portfolio showcasing a range of styles and subjects. Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, colour theory, and composition.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
