Job Description:
The Associate Quality Manager position is responsible for supporting the overall Quality objectives of the DC site, working collaboratively with all cross functional stakeholders to bring our customers great, reliable quality products, on time. This role manages a team of supervisors and associates, and is responsible for their success by ensuring their access to training, tools, and conducting performance management. The Associate Quality Manager is a highly collaborative role, working with all functions to identify and solve problems, using a data driven approach to determine sustainable and measurable solutions.
You will…
- Execute implementation of key strategies as defined by the QM/SQM. For example, staffing and labor initiatives, documentation verification activities, and special projects occurring at the site.
- Be a team leader, actively coach, develop, lead, and support your team. Conduct performance management activities in accordance with the HelloFresh standards and as needed to ensure strong team performance.
- Own the staffing and management of direct reports, ensuring correct roles are posted and conducting interviews as required.
- Champion training and onboarding. Ensure all materials are up to date and relevant. Own successful onboarding on new associates' success.
- Manage the schedule & coverage for the DC site, with the expectation that there is always a salaried FSQ leader (L3 / Area Manager +) in the building when FSQ associates are in the building.
- Own responsibility for tools & tech availability for associates. For example, “Tools” includes access to tablets, spec books, inspection tools, etc. “Tech” includes leading performance and owning success of technology such as new QA App roll outs, autoline and autostore performance, etc.
- Act as the first escalation person in charge for all FSQ matters occurring during shift; responsible for escalating to FSQ leadership as needed.
- Engage and own the performance of FSQ controllable metrics thorough;
- Escalating and tracking deviations from standard process and non-conforming materials through execution of root cause analysis activities and tracking of corrective action completion.
- Monitor and interpret data from dashboards to support the team in determining effective root cause and potential solution.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of SQF systems through activities such as:
- Overseeing established calibration and testing program.
- Participating in Food Safety activities as assigned
- Addressing non-conformities from previous internal and external audits.
- Administering document control.
- Meet the onsite, full time work schedule requirement.
