DESCRIPTION:
Join our tax team as a Tax Analyst III, where you'll have an important role in managing complex tax compliance and reporting activities across our organization. You'll leverage your expertise to prepare and review tax returns, optimize tax strategies, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international regulations. This position offers opportunities to work on diverse tax projects, from corporate income tax compliance to international tax matters, while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Working with finance teams, you'll analyze tax data, prepare detailed documentation, and provide strategic tax consulting services. You'll manage tax audits, maintain relationships with tax authorities, and help implement process improvements that enhance our tax operations' efficiency and accuracy. This role offers opportunities for professional growth while working with advanced tax technologies and methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduated in Accounting ee plus 3- 5 years of experience in  taxes or accounting
  • Intermediate english 
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax principles and international tax concepts
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software such as OneSource Income Tax, DataFlow, and Workpapers
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Experience preparing federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting documentation
  •  Knowledge of international tax forms (5471, 8858, 8865) and concepts (GILTI, BEAT, FDII)
  •  Ability to analyze complex tax data and identify optimization opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee preparation and review of indirect tax calculations and filings:
  • ICMS, ICMS-ST, DIFAL, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of SPED obligations (EFD ICMS/IPI, EFD Contributions).
  • Provide technical guidance on indirect tax treatment for complex transactions.
  • Conduct tax and accounting reconciliations, identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Continuously monitor tax legislation changes, supporting the effective implementation of updates into internal processes.
  • Actively support the identification and resolution of tax inconsistencies, maintaining close interaction with Billing, Procurement, Logistics, and Accounting teams.
  • Provide technical support during internal and external audits, organizing documentation and delivering clear, structured explanations.
  • Identify, validate, and track recoverable tax credits (ICMS, PIS/COFINS, IPI).
  • Drive automation initiatives in tax processes (data extraction, reconciliations, filings).
  • Collaborate with IT to improve ERP/tax engine configurations (e.g., SAP).
  • Implement data analytics and controls to increase efficiency and reduce risks

People Management Support

  • Serve as a technical reference for junior and mid-level analysts, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Support management in task allocation, deadline tracking, and prioritization of team activities.
  • Contribute to team development through knowledge sharing, internal training sessions, and constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, organized, and results-driven work environment.
