OVERVIEW:

The Director – Corporate Counsel, Global Litigation is a mid‑level, business‑focused attorney role supporting a global litigation center of excellence. The position manages a diverse portfolio of U.S. and international litigation and disputes across multiple subject areas, partnering with internal stakeholders and outside counsel. The role also contributes to legal operations, including litigation systems, reporting tools, and workflow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Global Litigation & Dispute Management

  • Support and manage all phases of global litigation and disputes, including intake, strategy, discovery, motions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.

  • Handle responses to subpoenas, bankruptcy matters, internal investigations, and government inquiries.

  • Coordinate with outside counsel on strategy, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Provide pre‑litigation risk assessments and resolution strategies.

  • Prepare internal litigation updates and reporting for leadership.

  • Support entity controls, tracking tools, and harmonized reporting across global operations.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce litigation exposure across U.S. and international operations.

Litigation Systems & Legal Operations

  • Collaborate with legal operations teams on matter‑management and legal‑hold system integration, including Onit.

  • Support litigation‑related technology platforms, including eDiscovery, legal holds, and reporting systems.

  • Refine workflows and develop litigation metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced Degree

  • JD Degree

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Experience practicing law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
