The Director, Medicare Supplement defines the sales product strategy for Medicare Supplement single by targeting specific markets and business segments. The Director, Medicare Supplement develops key performance indicators to drive sales program effectiveness and to ensure cost efficiencies. Provide data-driven expertise and management reporting to improve sales performance and increase market share. Develop go-to-market strategies and identify new business opportunities to increase overall sales portfolio. Identify main areas of improvement through trend and utilization analysis. Collaborate with business leaders, marketing and finance to ensure strategic, and competitive sales plans. Decisions typically relate to the implementation of new or updated programs or large-scale projects for the function. These projects also involve supporting technical and operational procedures and processes. The Director implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance also providing input into functions strategy.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Assist MarketPoint with training distribution channels (internal and external) on the value of Medicare Supplement, which helps achieve sales and profitability objectives.
- Develop and execute a market level distribution strategy that drives significant sales growth of Medicare Supplement and ancillary products with their accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, focused relationships with distributors at all levels.
- Train all distribution channels (internal and external) on the products, processes and procedures.
- Participate in planning sessions with MarketPoint field sales teams to help create and execute a Medicare Supplement growth plan, which will drive sales and profitable growth.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years experience Medicare Supplement account management experience in the health solutions industry
- 5+ Years demonstrated management and leadership experience
- Assist MarketPoint with training distribution channels (internal and external) on the value of Medicare Supplement, which helps achieve sales and profitability objectives.
- Experience executing market level distribution strategies to drive sales growth of Medicare Supplement and ancillary products with their accounts.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, focused relationships with distributors at all levels.
- Experience with training distribution channels (internal and external) on the products, processes and procedures.
- Experience working across a full product offering.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a large geographical territory.
- TRAVEL REQUIRED- 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration or a related field
- Valid state health and life insurance licensed

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
· Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
· Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
· Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
· Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

40Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
