Position: Procurement Intern

Line Manager: Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily procurement operations, including monitoring purchase requests and preparing RFQs to vendors
  • Assist in generating and following up on purchase orders (POs) via SAP
  • Maintain and organize procurement documentation, including contracts and supplier records.
  • Support vendor management activities, including creation of new vendor accounts in SAP
  • Assist with vendor communications to track order fulfilment and delivery status
  • Support contract and supplier management by assisting in drafting basic procurement contracts and coordinating with legal teams
  • Monitor contract compliance in areas such as delivery timelines, quality standards, and payment terms
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including QA, logistics, and global procurement, to address supplier-related matters
  • Collect and consolidate procurement data (e.g. cost savings, lead times, on-time delivery performance)
  • Support preparation of procurement reports for monthly reviews and KPI tracking

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Chinese
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Prior exposure to procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations is an advantage but not required
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage
  • Good troubleshooting skills

Commitment Period: 5 months and above
