A Day in the Life
We are looking for a detailed, organized, customer-focused Grants & Donations Compliance Specialist for Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business, the largest business within our Cardiac & Vascular Group (CVG).In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison among CRM business partners, health care organizations and societies, and the CRM Grants & Donations Committee. In addition, you will serve as a liaison with the CVG field organization regarding the grants and donations process.

A Day in the Life:
Conduct prompt, in-depth analyses of funding requests received from health care professionals and related organizations/societies
Proactively communicate with requesters and business partners to obtain relevant information to support analysis and funding decision
Ensure alignment of requests with established business criteria/priorities for third-party education of medical professionals and patients
Coordinate funding of requests with other Medtronic businesses
Work with business partners to document funding recommendations
Present recommendations, in writing and verbally to Grants & Donations Committee
Communicate Committee decisions to requesters and appropriate employees
Manage grant applications in the Medtronic Giving Connection system, including intake, review, adjudication and fulfillment
Lead internal efforts to further develop/improve funding-assessment process and/or funding guidelines
Assist third-party requesters and employees with questions regarding the application process and the Medtronic Giving Connection system
Safeguard customer relationships with accurate, timely, and professional communications, using tact and discretion
Manage US and/or international product donation process
Analyze and provide grants and budget data to leadership for planning purposes
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
Must Have:
Bachelor Degree
2+ years in a role which involved managing and tracking of data within the healthcare industry or highly regulated industry.
0 years of experience required with an advanced degree.
Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in a field or customer facing role
Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret and apply legal/compliance guidance, including Medtronic Business Conduct Standards and AdvaMed Code of Ethics
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills via email, in person, and by phone
Ability to build rapport and develop strong working relationships
Ability to maintain customer relations while delivering difficult messages
Track record demonstrating success in multi-tasking, prioritizing, monitoring status and initiating follow-up
Knowledge of CRM products and therapies and related disease states
Previous Medtronic experience
Experience working globally
Proficiency with the Medtronic Giving Connection system
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
