We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our H&B Food Biosciences team as:
Associate Sales Manager, Global Key Accounts
This role aims to grow our Cultures & Enzymes business at IFF H&B’s Global Key Accounts in Dairy and Brewing, by providing high-quality commercial support.
In this role, you will be fully supported by the IFF H&B Food Biosciences Business Unit working closely with colleagues across Communications, Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, Operations and Finance, to achieve our common goals.
You will report to one of IFF H&B’s Global Key Account Leaders based in Europe and work closely with the wider Global Key Account Leaders team.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Support and promote IFF’s Cultures & Enzymes solutions to our Global Key Accounts
- Develop tailored customer proposals and translate market trends into actionable ideas.
- Participate in commercial discussions, meetings and negotiations with top Food Manufacturing Global Key Accounts.
- Assist in building new business opportunities and managing these opportunities in Salesforce.
- Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of all key customer interactions, feedback, and action items.
- Track and update tender information, support translating trial data into convincing reports, and implement pricing strategy for key customers.
- Identify and evaluate new market trends and business opportunities.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Fluent in English and French
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a commercial role within the Food & Beverage industries, ideally selling food ingredients or other raw materials.
- Ideally, you have a technical background in dairy or brewing with a solid, practical understanding of the dairy processes, fresh fermented milk products, cheese technology and/or alcoholic beverages.
- Specific experience or competences with enzymes and dairy cultures will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with solid experience working with financial data and advanced Excel tools.
- You like to work independently, being self-motivated but also understand how to function in a larger organization and the importance of reaching common business goals with a high degree of team spirit.
- You exercise good project management skills and take ownership in driving new business opportunities by coordinating all team members towards achieving the defined business objectives.
- You are customer centric, open-minded and a strong communicator.
How Would You Stand Out?
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field preferred, alternatively and/or combined with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
- Support the development of long-term sales plans for our Global Key Accounts, monitor and adapt sales activities aiming to achieve short- and long-term commercial targets.
- Support and fulfill operational requests coming from GKAs
- Closely collaborate with IFF’s internal departments e.g. Application, Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Q&A and others.
