About the Team

The Digital Commerce team at Lowe’s India is an extension to the core Digital Commerce function at Lowes’ Headquarters in Mooresville. The team in India focuses on multiple areas such as Digital Category Experience, Digital Commerce Support, Brand Advocates, Marketplace support, Dropship modernization, Customer Engagement, Category performance analytics, Site Operations, SEO and Omnichannel Product Content. This team partners closely with the team in the US to optimize and grow Lowe’s Digital Commerce business.

The Enterprise SEO Team ensures that Lowe’s digital experiences are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and performance across all search channels. The team delivers consistent, data-driven optimization of site content, technical elements, and metadata while conducting ongoing competitive analysis.

Partnering closely with Business, Product, Content, Site Operations, and Technology teams, SEO team ensures that digital assets remain accurate, search-friendly, and aligned with customer intent, ultimately strengthening visibility and organic growth across Lowes.com.

Job Summary:

The Lead Analyst – SEO Excellence supports the development and scaling of SEO best practices across the organization. This role will help drive consistency in how SEO, AEO, and emerging GEO efforts are measured, documented, and adopted by cross-functional teams. While not owning overall SEO strategy for the enterprise, this person will play a key role in supporting governance, reporting, experimentation, and enablement initiatives for the SEO Excellence team.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, SEO Excellence, and will work closely with SEO, Product, Technology, Content, UX, and Analytics partners to help translate SEO standards into actionable guidance, support experimentation efforts, and identify opportunities to improve organic performance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong SEO foundation, analytical mindset, and interest in helping scale best practices across a complex digital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of SEO, AEO, and GEO guidelines, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Help create and update SEO playbooks, checklists, templates, and supporting documentation for teams such as Content, Product, UX, Engineering, and Merchandising.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO requirements are reflected in workflows, briefs, QA processes, and product or content updates.
  • Assist in building and maintaining self-service resources that enable teams to execute SEO best practices more consistently.
  • Monitor adherence to standards, and support follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the SEO experimentation program by helping define hypotheses, document test plans, track implementation, and summarize outcomes.
  • Partner with Analytics and experimentation teams to ensure SEO tests are measured accurately and insights are clearly communicated.
  • Analyze organic search performance and prepare regular reporting, dashboards, and summaries to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate findings from reporting and experiments into practical recommendations for SEO and partner teams.
  • Support SEO education and enablement efforts through documentation, training materials, team sessions, and ongoing guidance.
  • Stay informed on search trends, algorithm changes, and evolving areas such as AI-driven search experiences, and share relevant insights with the team.

Years of Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or digital performance roles in an e-commerce, digital, or product-led environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Technology, Content, UX, Analytics, or Marketing.
  • Prior experience supporting SEO reporting, testing, content optimization, or technical SEO initiatives at scale is preferred.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Analytics.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in SEO, web analytics, experimentation, or digital marketing tools/platforms.
  • Exposure to analytics, tag management, or SEO platforms commonly used in large organizations.

Skill Set Required

  • Solid understanding of core SEO principles, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, content SEO, internal linking, and site structure.
  • Familiarity with AEO concepts and emerging trends in AI-driven or generative search experiences.
  • Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4/Adobe Analytics, and enterprise SEO platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting SEO testing or experimentation, including test setup, tracking, and results analysis.
  • Ability to document processes, organize recommendations, and create clear supporting materials for partner teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Familiarity with experimentation methodologies or testing platforms.
  • Familiarity with building confluence pages.
  • Passion for building repeatable, scalable systems, and for enabling others through education, tools, and documentation.
