Title: Sanitation Technician 
Starting Pay: $17.00/hr
Location: Fargo, ND
Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exempt 
Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:30am-3:00pm

Who You Are:  

You’re a dependable, detail-oriented team member who takes pride in keeping workspaces clean, safe, and compliant. You’re comfortable with physical, hands-on work and understand the importance of following procedures especially when working with chemicals, equipment, and PPE. You take direction well, stay organized, and approach safety as a core responsibility, supporting both routine and non-routine cleaning needs.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Safely dismantle, clean, and reassemble production and cultivation equipment to support compliant, efficient operations
  • Properly use, label, and maintain cleaning chemicals to meet company safety and compliance standards
  • Complete routine and deep cleaning across production, office, and common areas, including moving and cleaning around equipment and furniture as needed
  • Stock and maintain PPE stations to support safety and compliance, ensuring workspaces remain clean, organized, and fully equipped
  • Keep exterior areas clean and orderly, including parking lots and grounds, with daily trash and recycling removal
  • Complete non-routine and emergency cleaning requests as needed

  • You’re able to take direction and stay highly detail-oriented in your work
  • You maintain a flexible schedule and can support overtime needs, including short-notice requests
  • You communicate professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent 

Even Better If:  

  • You have hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated environment, including chemical handling

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary 

Environmental Conditions 

  • Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) 
  • Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens 
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol 
  • Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms 
  • Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels
