Job Description

Who We Are:

At Guardian Restoration Partners, we are on a mission to build the most impactful restoration business in the industry. Our network of "Guardians" helps property owners in crisis rebuild their lives after devastating events like water, fire, and mold damage. As part of our team, you’ll be contributing to a company that values results, integrity, and putting customers first.

Guardian is a high-growth, private equity–backed company building a national platform in the restoration and field services industry. Through a focused acquisition strategy and strong organic growth, we are creating a best-in-class organization that combines local market expertise with the scale, systems, and discipline of a national platform. We are a passionate group of professionals committed to preserving the legacy of small and medium-sized businesses while accelerating their growth. We bring deep expertise and a hands-on approach to support our partners, expand the Guardian network, and make a lasting, positive impact across every organization

What we need:

Guardian Restoration is looking for a Director, Security, Infrastructure and Operations (SI&O) to lead and strengthen our enterprise security posture, cloud and infrastructure environment, identity and access management, and day-to-day IT operations. Reporting to our VP, Systems & Technology, this role is responsible for shaping and advancing security controls, SSO/MFA, onboarding and offboarding governance, MSP performance, and infrastructure reliability across a multi-location, private-equity-backed organization.

The Director, SI&O will help modernize Guardian’s IT operating model by improving lifecycle health, reducing technical debt, strengthening monitoring and patching practices, and building a proactive, metrics-driven operations culture. This role partners closely with Application Development, Data & Integration, Finance, HR, and Operations leaders to ensure technology controls are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs.

This role will be successful for someone who balances strategic direction with execution, builds strong teams, and creates predictable, auditable operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Program Ownership

  • Lead enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Lead implementation and adoption of SSO, MFA, conditional access, and security baselines across major systems.
  • Oversee penetration testing, vulnerability management, and remediation planning.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity insurance requirements and audit expectations.
  • Establish incident response and security escalation procedures.
  • Embed security-by-design principles into infrastructure architecture and lifecycle decisions.
  • Improve visibility through centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Support Zero Trust and segmentation initiatives where infrastructure plays a critical role.

Identity & Access Management

  • Lead user lifecycle governance, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Define role-based access models, group structures, and access standards.
  • Oversee Microsoft licensing governance, optimization, and cleanup.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Lead Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra environment health and architecture.
  • Champion cloud-first architecture while supporting hybrid requirements.
  • Establish backup, disaster recovery, patching, monitoring, and lifecycle health standards.
  • Ensure platforms can scale to support growth and acquisitions.
  • Build endpoint and device management strategy.

IT Operations & MSP Governance

  • Lead the MSP operating model, including SLAs, escalation paths, and performance management.
  • Improve reliability by reducing outages, chronic incidents, and technical debt.
  • Establish KPIs for reliability, security posture, lifecycle health, and service quality.
  • Build disciplined change management practices aligned with ITIL concepts.
