Head of Data Content and Distribution (Investor Services) - Managing Director

Working across Investor Services product and technology teams you are responsible for leading a team of product managers and data experts to create a world class data experience for internal stakeholders and clients.  You will bring together proven and cutting-edge data, cloud and AI technologies to deliver differentiated data products and solutions.

The role requires a proven Product executive with strong data expertise and Investment management industry experience, with a desire to retain hands-on technical skills.

You have previously built, led and scaled data engineering teams working across Technology, Operations and Product functions.   You have data science and AI expertise and have applied it to drive improved product outcomes, operational efficiencies and enhanced client experiences. 

You understand the value of working across teams to leverage shared capabilities to provide efficient, safe, consistent solutions for internal stakeholders and external clients and partners.  You have in-depth experience co-creating with users and can articulate the value to clients and internal stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

• Work across product verticals to ensure a consistent data experience for all Investor Services data consumers.

• Establish comprehensive engineered processes to automate and measure data governance, procedures on behalf of Investor Services.

• Develop and deepen partnerships across the Services organization to deliver continuous improvement to product partners and clients and increased adoption of shared platforms and tools.

• Collaborate across other teams in Investor and Services broadly to identify new commercial opportunities through data products.

• Create and scale existing distribution channels ensuring data consistency across all products.

• Extend existing capabilities to delivery new innovative data experiences to support new segments and markets.

• Establish a strong metrics-driven culture to capture and prioritize client feedback.

• Balance innovation with robust compliance, safeguarding client data and adhering to all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• A leader with 15+ years relevant experience in data and software.  Background in financial services preferred.

• Proven track record as a senior product manager and business executive leading and transforming digital capabilities with a relentless focus on the customer experience.

• A visionary with commercial acumen and a passion for innovation

• Curious and ever-green learner with deep understanding of data management, cloud and AI.

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple products and capabilities

• Thought leadership experience – via Industry events, journals and targeted articles.

• Attention to detail is a must, excellent verbal, written and relationship skills to be used to interact with a global group.  Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels

• A natural collaborator, who can rally teams, champion change, without direct authority and shape direction at senior levels.

• Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on driving engineered, autonomous continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while being focused on the details that matter to users.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
