The Opportunity 

We are currently on the lookout for a Technical Lead – Android to join our team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Working on apps that revolutionize customer interaction at Sysco 

• Being responsible for driving the development process from conception to release in a cross functional team in an Agile delivery environment 

• Starting at the ground level and develop the future of Sysco’s customer experience 

Requirements: 

• 6+ years of experience developing on Android 

• A passion for Android and a commitment to building award-winning apps 

• An expert-level understanding of the Android SDK 

• Preferred experience with Retrofit, RxJava or KotlinFlows/Coroutine, Dagger 2 and Jetpack Compose 

• A track record of publishing apps in the Google Play Store 

• A passion for building consumer facing applications with elegant and clean interfaces 

• Experience developing, testing, shipping and supporting a product for hundreds of thousands of users is a plus 

• Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo is an added advantage
