Senior Quality Engineer (Automation Testing)

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join us in Bengaluru. This role focuses on functional testing, automation and behaviour-driven development. You will work closely with engineering, product and DevOps teams to build test coverage throughout the development lifecycle. 

It suits someone who enjoys turning business requirements into clear test scenarios, building reliable automation and improving quality practices across the team.

What you'll do 

• Design, write and maintain functional test cases based on business requirements and user stories. 
• Create and maintain BDD feature files using Cucumber, with well-defined scenarios in Gherkin syntax. 
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright. 
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and early defect detection. 
• Execute test cycles covering functional and edge-case scenarios to make sure releases are solid. 
• Identify, log, track and manage defects in Jira, with clear documentation so issues get resolved quickly.
