We are looking for a strong AI & Data professional to join our growing team in Wellington. This role focuses on working with public sector clients to drive AI adoption, deliver data-driven solutions, and bring innovative thinking to complex challenges.

You will play a key role in translating Accenture’s global AI capabilities into meaningful outcomes for local clients, helping them unlock value through data, analytics, and emerging technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with public sector clients to understand business challenges and identify AI and data-driven opportunities

  • Support the design and delivery of AI, data, and analytics solutions aligned to client needs

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations

  • Contribute to solution architecture, implementation, and adoption of AI capabilities

  • Bring Accenture’s global AI, Data & H&PS (Health & Public Services) offerings and assets into local client engagements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital Core and Industry & Enterprise

  • Support business development activities including proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and act as a credible advisor in client discussions

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in AI, data, and analytics (e.g. AI/ML, data platforms, data strategy, or analytics delivery)

  • Experience working with or within the public sector is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of AI adoption, implementation, and/or solution architecture

  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value

  • Experience delivering end-to-end data or AI solutions in complex environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Exposure to modern data and AI ecosystems (e.g. cloud platforms, data engineering, ML tools)

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or government programs

  • Knowledge of Health & Public Services (H&PS) domain

  • Experience in pre-sales, business development, or client-facing consulting roles
