Fullstack Developer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either Java or Python and a passion for building high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that are critical to our business operations. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design, code, test, and deploy high-performance applications using Java or Python.
• Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Code Quality: Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• System Architecture: Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future of our technology stack.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience using Java or Python.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Frameworks and Libraries:
  • For Java: Experience with frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • For Python: Experience with web frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Databases: Proficiency in working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and common Git workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
• API Development: Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Frontend Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular) is a plus.
• Financial Services: Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable but not required.
