TJX is the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the world, delivering great value to our customers through the combination of brand, fashion, price, and quality. Our retail chains, present in nine countries, include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Winners, HomeGoods, Sierra, TK Maxx and Homesense.

A crucial part of our Company is represented by our Global Buying Offices, where resident buyers and sourcers purchase goods locally and scout regional markets looking for exciting products for our stores.

Global Buying Offices in Europe are present in Italy, UK, Portugal and Spain and we have Associates also in Poland and the Netherlands.

Logistics Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with vendors and agents on behalf of the TJX Companies Inc. various divisions on logistics policies and procedures.
• Constant communication with the vendor community and with the buying and sourcing teams to ensure compliance to all details related to the direct importation of merchandise into U.S. and Canadian markets.
• Thorough understanding of TJX’s direct import protocols to be able to guide new and existing suppliers thru the details of getting goods exported to the retail market on time.
• Provides constructive counseling to agents/vendors to correct non-compliant execution of TJX logistics standards.
• Assists in various aspects of Purchase order follow up once a product/program is committed with a vendor by the buyers.
