Senior Product Manager - Core Product Functionality

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead our dynamic team in developing and enhancing our core product functionality. This role will focus on primary metadata management, foundational platform capabilities, and high-adoption features that support the primary operational activities within commercial real estate properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing complex product initiatives with a strong background in SaaS. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in the property management or commercial real estate technology sector is valuable, but not required.

Key Responsibilities and Competencies:

Owns the outcome

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for our core platform functionality and foundational capabilities, demonstrating extreme ownership

  • Drive the product roadmap to align with the company's strategic goals and market trends, focusing on primary metadata management and high-adoption operational workflows within commercial real estate properties

  • Inspire ownership and motivate the team through goal alignment and transparency; strengthening team cohesion is a key activity day-to-day

  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer feedback, business value, and industry trends for core operational activities

Leads cross-functional collaboration

  • Partner effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless development and enhancement of foundational platform capabilities and primary metadata systems

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales and stakeholder leaders to deliver high-quality core functionality and operational features on time and within budget

  • Collaborate with property management and commercial real estate experts to understand complex operational workflows and translate them into effective core product solutions

Facilitates data-driven decisions

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to shape product decisions and identify new opportunities for enhancing core functionality and primary operational capabilities

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact on business goals, particularly focusing on adoption rates and efficiency gains in core operational activities

  • Prepare and present comprehensive product reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements and opportunities for improvement in the core platform ecosystem

Champions the client/user while delivering solutions

  • Conduct regular reviews and post-launch analysis to ensure core functionality meets user needs and drives business growth across our client base

  • Create detailed product requirements and user stories to guide development of foundational capabilities and ensure alignment with market needs for primary operational activities

  • Move fast to validate hypotheses by capturing key insights from customers, reading signals from the market, and experimenting iteratively with core product enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Real Estate, or a related field

  • 4-7 years of experience with a proven track record in senior-level SaaS Product Management, focusing on core platform development and foundational product capabilities

  • Experience with large-scale product initiatives and platform development (experience with property management systems preferred)

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the commercial real estate or property management software industry

  • Familiarity with property management platforms and commercial real estate technology solutions

  • Track record of successful product launches involving core functionality and foundational capabilities

  • Experience working with diverse client bases and understanding their unique operational challenges in commercial real estate

Estimated compensation for this position:

135,000.00 – 135,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
