Job Description:
This Manager role acts as the key business user representative of the Asia Expense Management team for region-wide projects, partnering with multiple stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize operational processes, systems, and controls. This role is responsible for leading and managing regional initiatives related to expense management, employee expenses, corporate card programs, and business travel management in the work period.
Responsibilities
- Represent business users to provide user requirements and design an appropriate end-to-end operational process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability regarding the use of business travel module, corporate card module and expenses module in SAP Concur across the Asia region.
- Manage stakeholders of different levels in Corporate and Asia to plan and manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time and successful project delivery.
- Set up the operational procedures and process flow for the new processes to ensure proper process efficiency and internal controls.
- Perform business acceptance testing for new systems, enhancements, and process changes to confirm solutions meet business and operational requirements.
- Lead training and change management activities to support system launches and major process changes in Asia region.
- Support other finance operations related BAU process and system enhancement activities in the Asia Regional Office and other Asia BUs.
Preferred skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate with corporate IT, procurement, and regional business teams.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Concur Travel, Concur Corporate Card, and Concur Expense modules.
- Experience with SAP Ariba procurement system, particularly invoicing and integration with finance processes.
- Solid understanding of in-house finance operations, including expense controls, compliance, and reporting.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including requirements gathering, timeline management, testing, and implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience delivering user training and supporting regional rollouts.
Qualifications
- University degree in business related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience. Experience in consulting firm or professional firm (e.g. Big 4) is preferred.
- Proven experience managing regional or cross-functional projects in a multinational environment.
