The Role You’ll Play

Design and develop high-quality backend systems across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Collaborate with users, product managers, and other engineers to understand requirements and guide technical solutions.
Perform system analysis and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and security.
Create and maintain APIs, frameworks, services, and utilities to support feature development at scale.
Lead by example in engineering best practices—writing tests, following SDLC conventions, and implementing team-wide coding standards.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural discussions.
Participate in peer code reviews, mentoring, and interview panels.
Remove blockers for your team and contribute to successful release cycles.
Guide and delegate work to junior engineers, helping build a strong, collaborative team culture.
Stay up to date on emerging tools and technologies that could drive innovation at Playlist.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system uptime and responsiveness.

Experience You Bring

6–8 years of engineering experience, including 4+ years working on large-scale web, mobile, or enterprise products.
Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
Experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, Elasticache, SNS, and SQS.
Comfortable working in Visual Studio and developing in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks.
Familiarity with REACT and Ruby in a production environment.
