This is a dynamic role in the Utilization Management (UM) Data Shared Services department responsible for analysis supporting data warehousing, analytics, and Business Intelligence solution development to support a wide variety of data, system, and business analytics needs across eviCore stakeholders. This role will analyze data from eviCore’s information systems, develop, or support development, of solutions, and assist other team members and stakeholders in their use and understanding of eviCore’s data, systems, and Business Intelligence solutions.  Must be highly organized and work well in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn a variety of analytic technologies, including Azure Delta Lake, Databricks, and a variety of BI tools, so must possess the desire and ability to learn and adapt. Communication will be critically important as this role will work directly with stakeholders to capture requirements across multiple teams. Healthcare background is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and understand complex problems to clearly gather and communicate requests
• Use technical skills and resources to dig in to novel problems and create novel solutions
• Provide recommendations and assist in solution development
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and business leaders influencing outcomes through effective verbal and written communication skills including planning and facilitating workshops, developing compelling senior-level presentations, and other highly visible communications
• Interpret business feedback and results to succinctly create compelling recommendations and solutions for senior leadership sponsorship and buy-in
• Provide support on projects designed to improve stability, reliability, cost effectiveness, and quality of care
• Thoroughly understand eviCore data and systems to be able to explain those data and systems to a variety of audiences
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and how the lakehouse team can support them
• Assist with QA tasks and responsibilities as appropriate
• Analyze existing or create new SQL queries to perform analysis
• Manage needs and requirements across our internal teams, potentially including backlog management, capacity management, process management, etc.
• Collaborate across teams and bridge gaps in understanding
• Conduct analyses to identify business use cases, capability requirements, and technology & data dependencies to support our key strategic initiatives
• Provide advanced professional input to complex Engineering assignments/projects
• Support a team of engineers that designs and develops a consolidated, conformed enterprise data lake house which stores all critical data associated with Customer, Provider, Authorization, Claims, Client, and Benefits information.
• Analyze large amounts of data stored in the data lake house to find relationships and patterns
• Support and provide direction to more junior professionals
• Work autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others
• Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures
• Utilize in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Information Management

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in managed care and/or working with healthcare claims
• Organized and works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Powerful critical thinker
• Comfortable with and able to work through ambiguity
• Strong technical skills required to explore, extract, organize, transpose and analyze data sets
• Self-starter who enjoys problem solving and creating innovative solutions
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop sophisticated analyses and synthesize the results into implications and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of shaping messages appropriately for a senior-level audience and proficiency using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Able to effectively collaborate with the remote teams – both on-shore and off-shore
• Proficient in database concepts and technologies including MS SQL Server
• Good understanding of data warehousing / dimensional modelling concepts
• Experience in ETL, data mapping, data handling, and data analytics
• Experience creating analysis or BI output using one or more of the following:
  • MicroStrategy
  • Tableau
  • PowerBI
  • Qlik
  • Other BI tools
• Experience in Agile Methodology

Required Experience & Education: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Business Analytics

Location & Hours of Work

• Hyderabad, 3 days from office is must
