Position Overview
Job Description SummaryThe Mailroom Associate Level III will be responsible for supporting the mail room with scanning, sorting, distribution, and delivery of mail/packages to the corporate offices. Operating the third-party scanning and shipping system for outbound shipments. Includes various administrative, physical, and labor-intensive tasks.
A Day in the Life
Mail & package receipt/Internal and External Distribution.
Third -party shipping system for outbound mail/package and preparation
Record Retention retrieval, and delivery.
Using the Scanning system to ensure all inbound mail and packages are sorted and delivered to the correct area or persons.
Delivering office supplies, toner, paper.
All carrier packages must scan into the delivery system for packages to sort and unboxed for delivery to the office to which they were delivered.
Pickup and delivery of record retention boxes.
Mail pickup and drop off from local post offices.
You'll Come With
Education: High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of mail center, clerical, delivery, receiving, shipping and storekeeping experience.
Ability to read and interpret charts and tables.
Experience operating a postage meter device.
Ability to safely lift and carry equipment, packages and office supplies.
Be able to observe fully safe work as well as driving rules and practices.
Must be able to plan and prioritize work.
Able to communicate in a clear and tactful manner.
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as department needs change throughout the day.
Knowledge of basic record keeping procedures.
Knowledge of FedEx and UPS, USPS and third-party shipping systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel a plus.
Licenses/Certification/Registration: Possession of a valid state driver’s license is required
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 30 pounds
