Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an innovative and passionate engineer to architect and build new capabilities for our Investments Platform. The AWS Investments platform is a collection of products and services that streamline and optimize sales and marketing program operations, engagement, and management. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team with diverse skill sets, be able to influence our technical direction and build exciting new capabilities that operate at Amazon scale. The platform will provide the foundation for full-stack applications built using native AWS technologies. You will interface with several key stakeholders of this platform including our product, program leaders and with our key technical partners across AWS.
A qualified candidate for this role enjoys building highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using native cloud architectural patterns. • Innovating and delivering creative SW Designs to develop new services, solve operational problems, drive improvements in developer velocity, or positively impact operational safety
• Writing requirements capturing documents, design documents, integration test plans, and deployment plans
• Communicating status and progress of deliverables to schedule, and sharing learnings/ innovations with your team and stakeholders

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
