About the opportunity
This position is offered as an agency worker role with an initial contract of 6 months, providing valuable exposure to QIAGEN’s global commercial organization and inside sales environment.
Your tasks include
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while selling QIAGEN service offerings in your assigned region
- Proactively sell instrument service contracts by leveraging installed base and customer data
- Collaborate closely with other QIAGEN sales representatives to position and close service agreements with key customers
- Engage customers primarily via phone and digital channels to drive efficient and effective sales interactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM to support pipeline management and sales effectiveness
- Prepare thoroughly for customer calls and execute action plans aligned with sales strategy and marketing initiatives
- Support the achievement of service sales targets by following structured inside sales best practices
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field; a scientific or life sciences background is an advantage
- You bring a background in Molecular Biology or related disciplines; hands-on laboratory or instrument service experience is a plus
- You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, with a clear focus on sales
- You are experienced in selling service contracts, ideally via phone or other electronic channels
- You communicate fluently in English and demonstrate strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- You work independently, stay well-organized, and manage your time effectively in a target-driven environment
- You are customer- and service-oriented and are willing to work the night shift (10:00 PM–7:00 AM)
