Job Summary
Responsible for working with the Network and Systems Engineers to create, maintain and enforce security plans and policies effecting the network. Responsible for securing all information and information systems assets of the Company network infrastructure. Design/install/operations of VPN, SoHo, WAF, IDS, DDoS, Partner Access Solutions, Network Security Stack powering Zero-Trust, Firewalls and microsegmentation protecting CCS operations infrastructure (SIEM, DataLake, WAF, IDS, SOC dashboards). Plays a lead role in the design of security safeguards and ongoing verification of Company's network security posture. Acts as a Network Security Subject Matter Expert for the company. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
12+ years of experience in data center networking or large-scale enterprise network environments
Deep expertise in data center network design and protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS preferred)
Strong experience with spine-leaf architectures and high-availability designs
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform)
Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, and performance analysis tools
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence across teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with load balancers, firewalls, and service insertion architectures
Experience in large-scale data center migrations or technology refresh programs
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, cloud networking certifications)
Experience in regulated or high-availability environments (media, finance, healthcare, or SaaS)
