Title:

Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Developer to join our KBR Digital Team in Brisbane to design, build, and support secure, scalable enterprise business applications used by internal users and operational teams.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and enterprise application teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. You’ll apply a combination of low‑code and high‑code development, support production environments, and contribute to strong development standards, documentation, and mentoring practices.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys translating business requirements into practical, well‑designed, and supportable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise business applications supporting internal users and operational teams

  • Build, configure, and customise Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including:          

    • Model‑Driven Power Apps

    • Power Automate workflows

    • Power Query and Dataflows

  • Design and implement Dataverse data models, relationships, business rules, and security structures

  • Develop and apply high‑code extensibility where required, including:

    • C# plugins

    • Custom APIs

    • JavaScript

    • Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls

  • Integrate applications with SharePoint Online and other enterprise systems, including authentication, access control, and REST API usage

  • Deliver initiatives end to end, covering requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

  • Support and optimise development and production environments, ensuring alignment with organisational security, compliance, and governance standards

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across browser, identity, Dataverse, and backend services

  • Produce clear technical documentation covering solution design, configuration, deployment considerations, and operational support

Skills & Experience Required:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in enterprise application development

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Model‑Driven Power Apps and Power Automate

  • Solid understanding of Dataverse security, including roles, teams, and business units

  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online

  • Experience developing high‑code extensions (C#, JavaScript, Custom APIs, PCF)

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects end to end

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Desirable experience:

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations and/or Finance and Operations

  • Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL‑400 or equivalent)

  • Experience working in large or complex enterprise environments

  • Ability to produce or collaborate on UI/UX designs using tools such as Figma

  • Experience with testing frameworks, automated testing, or structured QA practices
