Specialist - Customer Quality

This position is responsible for ensuring that material and quality master data for strategic materials is maintained to the highest possible level of accuracy.
As our new colleague in the Food Biosciences Customer & Design Quality department, you will join a global team and you will communicate and interact globally with Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing organizations. You will work independently to maintain systems and address internal and external customer needs. The role is based in Sohna, India (on-site / partially remote). Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Create and maintain product information and master data in SAP and internal databases

• Support and maintain quality documentation

• Support and maintain product and safety label documentation

• Support and collaborate with team members on product registration support

• Support project work tied to documentation and master data creation

• Manage a significant amount of troubleshooting, repeat tasks, and ad hoc requests with accuracy and a quality mindset

• Execute IFF policies and procedures in relation to data accuracy, timeliness and in conformance to business and corporate standards

• Work with business units and cross-functional teams to resolve master data issues.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, biological sciences, or a related discipline; master degree preferred

• 5 - 8 Years experience, preferably with enterprise systems e.g., SAP, SharePoint

• Skilled at managing information, data flows, complex IT systems and common office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills in English (please note, that proficiency in this language will be checked as a part of our recruitment process!)

• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, simple messages

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership – you finish what you start

• Structured working style with attention to detail and consistency
