Position: Senior Lead Engineer - In Service Engineering

Primary Responsibilities:


- Accountable for the deliverables meeting the expected quality and on time delivery
- Maintain and develop a positive relationship with customers & other functional groups
- Collaborate with the customer and different departments to ensure completion of the assigned task
- Responsible for compliance to Global trade requirements

- Drive process improvements opportunities

- Adherence to quality management process and procedures

- Drive skill development initiatives

  

Required Skills and Experience:
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, especially in design, materials, manufacturing process and special processes

- Hands-on experience in providing repair dispositions for landing gear parts or mechanical components. Any prior experience on repair dispositions would be a plus
- Knowledge of Landing gear components/functionality is desirable
- Experience in disposition to complex overhaul issues and proposing an engineering solution to curtail future occurrences.

- Excellent drawing reading skills

- Should have experience in tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T

- Sound knowledge in reading and understanding the stress analysis reports
- Prior demonstration of cross-functional team collaboration

- Prior experience on MRB work would be a plus

- Hands on experience in Catia V5 3D modeling software

- Hands on experience in using PDM/PLM software

- Prior experience on automation, digital technology

- Drive & support continuous improvement initiatives and organizational requirements
- Should have strong communication skills, as the position will involve interaction with MROs, business units, and cross-functional teams viz, design, stress, materials, etc.

- Able to work in aggressive workload requirement.

- Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances and empowers others to do the same.

- Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

- Develops Talent - Taking an active role in the growth of yourself and others to meet both career and organizational goals.

 Educational Qualification: 
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering with 5-8 years of experience. A master's degree in a similar domain would be a plus.
